Primarily people are a little people pleasing, a little procrastinating, and maybe a little perfectionistic. Join me each week to get a little motivation and a lot of inspiration. Our 20 pound down summer challenge has ended. We will not stop losing weight until we say that we're done. But this challenge has come to a close. I want to talk today about celebrating your wins and managing your thoughts. I am recording this video early.
So to find out where I stood on the 20 pound challenge, cause I'm doing it too. Hop on the social media and there will be some kind of a post that says where I went. [00:01:00] Alrighty. So celebrating your wins, you're going to celebrate. If you hit your goal, you're going to celebrate if you didn't. If you didn't hit your goal, you were able to give yourself with this challenge so many opportunities to learn things.
Yeah, that is worthy of being celebrated too. All right, you're celebrating your wins. Find wins. If you lost 0. 2 of a pound, if you gained five pounds, but you understand, So many other things. You now have a path and a direction to move forward in. These are wins. And I've said this before. You are not good if you lost the weight and you are not bad if you didn't.
Everything is great. You either lost weight and you're a little closer on your journey or you didn't lose the weight but you got really great information so that you understand what to do next and why. Those are [00:02:00] amazing great things and you were completely good regardless of what happens. Your worth already exists.
I want you to get very good about celebrating your wins. Celebrate every little bit of it. Maybe you're not getting all your sleep, but you are another hour more than you were before this challenge. Maybe you don't have all your water. Maybe you actually have planned. three fourths the time. And instead of like beating ourselves up about the other fourth of the time or not, we are going to celebrate that we have been able to figure out how to plan so much more.
There are so many things to celebrate. I love looking at it and figuring out exactly what it is I'm celebrating. Sometimes it's that I did not eat when I had an urge. That is a huge celebration, especially when I think about where I came from. You can get bogged down in the today, not [00:03:00] being where you want to be.
And so that's one of the reasons why taking photos, taking the measurements, it lets you see where you came from. There is so much to celebrate in that. You have come so far, whether it's pictures, the scale measurements, or what you've learned. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. So what do we do with this? Right?
We're going to manage our thoughts. That's what we're doing next. You get to decide what your next group of challenge or goal is going to be. Once you decide that you start managing thoughts about it. So put into place your obstacles and how you're going to overcome those obstacles. And then anything that comes up, we're going to manage.
Why are we thinking that? Where did that come from? Is that even true? Lots and lots of managing thoughts. That is exactly how I lost weight. I would manage the [00:04:00] thoughts. I would manage the stinky thoughts and I would manage the great thoughts. I want to keep thinking the other. I want to keep thinking those great thoughts.
And sometimes I learned how to create those great thoughts for me to think. When I did not have them coming up naturally. There are so many lessons for you to look at on managing thoughts and thought work. And that is going to be exactly how you keep going. This is about motivation. Today's message is 100 percent how to create motivation.
